Correos (Post Office)

After several years of interchanging staff at the post-office, since beginning of 2021 we finally a person who has taken over this position on a long term: Maria José. I am sure this will, in the long run, increase the efficiency more, especially if we help her to make sure our letters are addressed properly, with the correct postcode.
There are 3 [THREE] different postcodes that are used for Canillas de Aceituno, as it depends if your post is delivered through the post(wo)man based in Trapiche (29719), the post(wo)man based in Viñuela (29712) or through our main office here in Canillas-Capital (29716).
Unfortunately there is very little documented and asked Maria José, once she has accommodated properly, to have a deep look into this. Obviously all depends on the main post office in Vélez-Málaga and some help from our town hall would ease the process as well, although they usually are not very interested in these issues, arguing that it is an issue of “correos”.
